"WILD GAMES"
Collective exhibition

31/05/18 - 15/07/18
"No prohibitions, no eroticism." George Bataille.

Wild Games is a collective exhibition in which different aspects of sexuality and eroticism are exposed. The representation of the body has been an omnipresent object, if not a protagonist, in the history of art. Art is expression and language, and as such sometimes alludes to desire and sexuality in many of its manifestations. Erotic art seeks to transgress the norm through plastic by making public the private, the intimate and the sexual. The representation of the body in art is much more important; in a way, explicit in its messages and forms, and it has been a theme represented by all civilizations throughout the history of humanity.

George Bataille, in his essay "Eroticism", part of the sexuality that differentiates the human being from the animals, and yet it is the one that awakens the wildest instincts. In Wild Games we can see how Javier de Inocencio, Rafael Jiménez, Pedro Moreno, José Carlos Nievas, Reverendo, Miguel Tadeo and Fernando Vicente face and interpret this theme.
