Speak about Sfhir is to speak about graffiti, urban art, portrait, figuration, fantasy... In his works he combines graffiti with various tools such as aerographs, pistols, brushes or rollers in combination with the use of fire on wood, pen on paper, photoluminescent paint on canvas... Sfhir’s work has no definite influence: painting, photography, contemporary art or designers are a source of inspiration. anything is likely to influence him; artistic exploration is the key to his evolution.

This is a collection in which the artist reflects on the identity creating an intercommunicative game with the visitor. The characters in this series are viewed in an introspective way, is there an act more intimate than a human being observing his own reflection, modulating his gesture, deciphering himself?

The mirror offers us a chimera: the promise of conceiving what the other’s gaze is like about us. Is there anything more embarrassing than being caught watching us when we think we’re alone? In each of the pieces that make up this collection the spectator participates as a vouyeur subject, and in this attempt to read the other also reflects himself. Magic object, narcissistic, sinister... mirrors we try to deceive, that give us back our own image in a ruthless way, and that are unequivocal proof of our own consciousness.
